Meet Julie
Julie Spira is an Author, Entrepreneur, and Cyber-Dating Expert. Her book, The Perils of Cyber-Dating: Confessions of a Hopeful Romantic Looking for Love Online was released in February, 2009 and became a best-seller on Amazon.com.
Julie started out as a radio show host and voice-over announcer at WAAL in Binghamton, NY. She was the first female announcer at the FM rock station. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Television-Radio from Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. She also served as a top executive for several cutting edge Internet and communications companies.
She is a skilled mentor, is involved with numerous local charities, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Costume Council at LACMA and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Jewish Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Los Angeles where she is also a ” Big Sister.” Today, Julie offers her experience as a Cyber-Dating Expert and empowers singles on the online dating scene and hosts the weekly radio show, “Ask the Cyber-Dating Expert.” She has appeared on numerous national and international television and radio programs sharing her expertise in online dating.
